As a Producer, Corey’s Broadway productions have garnered 56 total Tony awards, including Tonys for Best Musical Revival in 2012 for Porgy and Bess and Best Musical Revival in 2013 for Pippin, for which he also received the 2013 Drama Desk Award, Drama League Award and the Outer Critic's Circle Award. Clearly, Corey Brunish has a talent for recognizing and aligning himself with Broadway hits.
Most notably, Corey produced the original Broadway musical Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, which has now become one of the longest running shows on Broadway and for which the Cast CD won a Grammy Award. Most recently Corey received his twelfth Tony Nomination and fourth Tony award for Company for Best Musical Revival of 2022, which also won the Outer Critics' Circle and Drama Desk Awards.
Corey Brunish is a member of the Society of Directors and Choreographers (SDC). He made his directorial debut at the helm of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. He directed Stephen Sondheim's Company in 2009 and was the assistant director of the Broadway original musical Bonnie and Clyde.
